Design Brief

I’ve always been comfortable in my living room, but I wanted to up its style factor so that I could use it for more than just spending some time by myself and with my girlfriend. I wanted it to be a space where I could hold social gatherings, invite people over for dinner, or even host a fun game night with friends and family! For this, the living room had to rank high in comfort and style - I wanted it to be a space where people could feel relaxed and at home but without compromising on the aesthetics of it.

Watching Design Experts at Work

Maria came and let’s just say she conquered! From the very beginning, she had a plan on how to bring my space to life. I expected a good turn around on this design, but watching Maria at work, I knew that it was going to be even better. The living room incorporated the best of modern-minimalist style with an industrial flair. It was clean, it was sleek, and it was frill and fuss-free. The reclaimed look and the ‘bare wall’ kind of feel was very industrial and very rugged. It gave the room a different character altogether. I had mentioned at the beginning that neutrals were the color palette of my choice with a monochrome kind of play to it, and the room showcased precisely that. Ikea and Wayfair happen to be two of my favorite home decor brands, and there were some beautiful things that Maria got from there and put in the room. The Coffee Table & the tables from Ikea, the dining chair set, the floor lamp & the area rug from Wayfair were some of my favorites. There were some other very interesting elements that Maria included as well in the form of decor, that elevated the vibe of the room - like baskets and vases and wall decor. I was open to ideas from the start, and Maria’s expertise, along with her attention to detail, we managed to turn the whole thing around!

Using the Spacejoy App to Experience Designs in 3D

I have tried in the past with the help of friends and family members to decorate the room, but it's not the same. Spacejoy gave me the advantage (and a huge advantage, it is!) of experiencing the designs in 3D before it was actually implemented. It was like having my cake and eating it too. The app is so easy to use, and its interactive nature makes the whole thing entirely novel - I have never been more hands-on while designing a space in my home before. I felt comfortable, confident, and excited to go to the next step. Maria was a gem, and she took me through all the details just to ensure that there was no confusion. The Spacejoy app is a unique offering for customers like me in the home design space, and I was thrilled to experience it this way.

Photorealistic images or 3D renders of Christov’s Living Room

The 3D render was one of the most exciting parts of the entire process. Once we were done creating and designing the living room, I got to experience it in 3D! The photorealistic images were awesome, and I completely understood what my living room was going to look like in the end - exciting! Reaching this stage was honestly stress-free and a whole lot of fun. The feedback process was smooth, and within just a few good discussions, we were able to reach a blueprint that we all loved. From there, it was just about turning the dream into a reality!
