Our priority was to create one environment for this studio apartment that still gave each section its deserved attention without sacrificing space. To start, we brought in a large white jute rug to cover most of the living space area and instantly brighten up the room. We also layered it with a faux cowhide rug from World Market to add a touch of glam by the living room area and a vintage rug in the bedroom to separate the spaces better. Glam touches are added throughout the space with brass side tables and large mirrors. To add some contrast, we brought in a wood carved coffee table from Ballard Designs that can always double as additional seating space if needed. The home office's gallery wall brings inspiration and adds a touch of decor to the area without taking up room on the floor.
