This living & dining room design features a dark gray sofa with mid-century modern lines. It’s accompanied by a black and white accent chair and a wood-frame armchair with blue upholstery for a pop of color. The accent pillows add touches of blues to the design. To complement the color scheme, we’ve layered the existing blue rug over the wooden floor tiles and a smaller red area rug which is used as an additional runner in the living room space. Industrial black side tables provide extra tabletop surfaces. We placed simplistic blue counter stools with dark wood legs on the kitchen island to compliment the overall rich color tones. We added a wooden sideboard to provide storage for linens, blankets, etc. Lastly, we kept the wall almost bare with just a handful of art frames to help brighten up space.
