This transitional living room is in a neutral color palette with layers of textures and patterns that add interest to almost every nook of this space. The furniture layout is arranged with a clean contemporary style sectional sofa from Wayfair and a Pottery Barn chocolate leather swivel chair. An ivory rug governs the hardwood flooring. We also added an entry runner at the door for warm welcomes. The fireplace, which is the room's focal point, has a simple ledged mantle for trinkets and small decor. We added a console behind the sofa for additional storage and display space. We also added cube ottomans from Wayfair for extra seating in case you have guests over. Overall, this transitional living room is worthy for social gatherings.
