For this cozy bedroom design bringing the outdoors indoors was a massive element of the aesthetics. Everything starts from the geometric patterned area rug that grounds the room and centers the space. The modern two-tone nightstands offer hidden bedside storage, while streamlined lamps provide a feeling of simple sophistication. And additional storage is provided with the mid-century, clean-lined double dresser that helps bring a balance to the bedroom space with its warm walnut finish. To make it functional, we added a ladder-style shelf that also doubles as a desk for studying or work. We finished the work station with an upholstered chair from World Market in a soft brown faux leather that perfectly complements the macrame tapestry and plats scattered across the room. Overall, every inch of this room exudes calmness and relaxation.
