I purchased these planters approx. 6 months ago for outdoor use, under a covered patio, unfortunately they are not meant for outdoor use. The paint has chipped and peeled, leaving behind two, unsightly planters at my doorstep. These planters are NOT designed for outdoor use.

I really liked the shape of the planter and bought one large and one small for my patio but the paint started chipping off from day1.

The paint chipped off and it turned yellow before the weather changed.

This is a new planter option for CB2. The shape is lovely - a mix of round with a square base. Nice good size but the finish is a big strange - looks a bit like white Styrofoam with the texture. I'll be keeping it but wouldn't buy it again.

The dimensions on CB2 website for ALL planters are what an ID person might want but totally inadequate for landscape professionals in terms of the actual space available to put a plant pot in. No opening inner dimension, no dimension indicating how narrow the pot gets how far above the bottom of the planter. This means that you can’t check volume w/out getting the shipment! This particular planter is beautiful bcs it cuts in dramatically — so these specific dimensions was essential. I called a store but what they gave me was off by half an inch so plant didn’t fit. Planter is also extremely heavy so shipping it back would be beyond annoying. Ended up using it for an entirely different plant that was way less optimal but less of a pain than dealing with its return. I am the interiors and landscape principal at an architecture firm and deal with 1/16th of an inch all day long. Yet I found purchasing this gorgeous planter ridiculously difficult!
