I love the way it looks. The cushion edges are a little firm and not the most comfortable, so you have to make sure you aren’t leaning against them while sitting. The fabric is rougher than I expected and starting to pill after a few weeks on the most used cushions. But, I really love the way it looks and fits in our space.

The couch was delivered in great shape, was easy to put together, is more comfortable than expected, and seems very sturdy, but unfortunately every single cushion has started pilling within two months. For the price of the couch, we are extremely disappointed in the fabric– the couch looks years old rather than two months old. I will not be buying upholstered Article furniture again but I would try leather pieces in the future.

Unfortunately this couch pills a ton, within weeks of receiving. You cannot wash the covers and it looks extremely worn and inexpensive with the pilling. In addition, the stitching on the arm starting unraveling immediately. I really wish article sold cotton slip covers for this couch or something to fix the problem. It would be nice to also have the option to wash.

This sectional is the reason why I'm writing the review. When we first received the item, it looked nice and the color was correct. Yesterday we thought it's probably time to remove the covers and clean them. It was such a mess. There were so much feathers coming out of the cushion and by the time we finished removing all the covers, it looked like the living room was ran over by chickens. I would highly discourage anyone from buying this couch if you intend to use it for a long time and wash the cover every once in a while. Also, I read other reviews about the piling issue on the cover, I can confirm that it is true. Our cushion covers, especially the ones that were sat on often, started piling after 6 months, and we had to buy a piling trimmer to clean the pilings. Overall, for a sectional at this price point, I would expect something better. Disappointed.

Fabric is really scratchy. Almost feels like outdoor furniture. Cushions are on the firm side. Great size and look for our space, but I expected it to be a bit more comfortable for the price.

The cushions are deep and sometimes I have to put a pillow behind my head to get comfortable.

I love the style and look of this sectional. It is not as soft as I would usually like for a couch, but the fabric seems durable and will hold up to small children for several years. The color (timber rain cloud gray) is really nice and coordinates nicely with many different color ways as far as textiles and decor. I have been very pleased with my Article purchases. Great quality for an attainable price!

Love our Timber so far! Fabric seems durable, cushions are comfortable, color is beautiful and the size is perfect. The email communication throughout the order and delivery process was great. The actual delivery was great as well - 2 person team was efficient and super nice and courteous.

Couch looks amazing and is great quality. The fabric is not the most comfortable but seems durable and easy to wash as a trade-off.
