Beautiful couch and unique color - highly recommended

I’ve had this couch since 2018 and it’s held up really well. Cushions are still firm and filled. I would just emphasize article’s note about color fading with the sun. This is certainly true for my couch as it’s placed in a room with south facing windows.

I was extremely nervous to order a sofa online, but this was the right choice. It is gorgeous!! I am very happy. And the delivery people were great!! Very efficient and professional.

Great stability and firmness, but comfort

As new couch is easy to install and lightweight, looks great. It's comfortable. From a wear and tear and maintenance perspective, not so great. Ours is 3 years old, given that we have young children. The pillows you sit on cannot be taken to a dry cleaner, because they are not meant to be removed fully, even thought they have a zipper and you can pull out the cushion partially. The couch shows stains very easily, and the velvet wears very quickly. If you give this couch a decent amount of use, it's a 2-5 year sofa, not a long term solution. If for a living room with limited adult use, then probably a better fit. We had to move it from our everyday couch to base our basement "play couch" about 2 years in.

We got the Pacific Blue Sven and while I loved the original color and style, it has not aged well and we’ve had it for only one year while vacuuming it once a week and keeping it out of the sun. The velvet does not age well and is already discolored - it picks up every possible stain, even a drop of water, and is impossible to clean. I would have thought for the price that the velvet would have lasted at least a year especially after trying to take good care of it overall. If you are getting the couch for a room that you don’t use often, it might be a good buy but as a sofa that will get daily use, likely not a good investment.

We have had our Sven sectional for over a year now and it is absolutely amazing. It is incredibly comfortable and look just as it does in the pictures. It functionally is also wonderful as it fits a zillion people and looks almost exactly as it did the day we received it. The quality is so high and the prices so reasonable that Article was the first place I went for our next major furniture purchase (just purchased a new upholstered bed frame for which I'm eagerly awaiting delivery). I'll definitely be back for future furniture needs!!!

This is literally the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on! My partner and I were a little hesitant at the price when we ordered but it is SO worth it. It is absolutely stunning and it is incredibly easy to clean (velvet is such a great option if you have pets since hair doesn't get woven into the fabric).

We loved our Sven velvet sectional so much. The purchase and delivery were great and it looked perfect in our space. Unfortunately, this didn’t last very long. It quickly began showing significant wear and accumulating white blotches. Before it’s even 3 years old, it looks so bad we have to replace it. This was with normal use by two adults. We even kept the cats off, which we don’t normally do. Maybe that’s just how velvet is, but from my reading it should be more durable than that. A part of me would love to believe it was just bad luck and try again (we really did love it for awhile!), but I’m afraid we’d just be wasting even more money. Overall, pretty disappointing.

I was hesitant to buy any sofa without seeing it in person first. But after a friend vouched for Article's quality and customer service, I'll pulled the trigger. And I'm very happy I did. The sofa is amazing, exactly what I expected and wanted. But the best part is that it arrived less than 2 weeks later (everyone I know who recently bought living room furniture has been waiting months). Thanks Article!

We are absolutely in LOVE with our new Sven velvet sofa! The care that was taken in the packaging and shipping was impressive. The quality of the sofas construction is amazing and it is extremely comfortable! We debated over this purchase for quite some time, especially because of the price tag. But I am so happy with the decision to buy it! My only concern is how well the velvet will hold up over time. I am nervous about eating on it and my dogs nails have left a few scratches. There are a few creases that seem permanent that it came with from shipping, mostly unavoidable. But i suppose it’s an ok trade off for the fact that it’s cotton that has not been treated with any harsh chemicals. Overall, this sofa is amazing??

Not pet friendly

I am head over heels in love with this sofa! It looks amazing and is so comfortable. Delivery and assembly were super easy. The color is super unique and beautiful in every light.
