I ordered 2 of these chairs. One came damaged in 4 different sections of the left side leg and arm. Both chairs were very well-packaged, so it was a bit surprising to see that the damaged chair left the warehouse in that condition. Also, I purchased the chairs to sit side-by-side, but there is a distinct difference in the stain colors of the wood, so they do not match. I am returning both chairs, because I don’t have the confidence that a replacement chair will be the same wood stain as the one if I were to keep it. I do like the design of the chairs, especially the quality and design of the cushions-the bottom cushion has a design where it fits securely into the wood frame which prevents it from sliding. Customer service was ok, I first called to initiate a return, was told to send an email with pictures to document the damage, received a response 3 days later with suggestions (they could send a replacement or schedule a return) l, I sent an email back stating I would like to return, did not hear anything back after 2 days, so then called and spoke with a representative to set up the return, which which was scheduled 2 weeks later. Article delivery team was very good at keeping in touch on both delivery and return. This was my 3rd purchase from Article( I have the Sven leather sofa and 3 bar stools) and was pleased with those purchases. I just think these chairs have a quality control issue pertaining to the damage and the stain mismatch.
