It took forever to find the perfect table for our home and we could not have found a more gorgeous one for our dining room. It was difficult to find a table that was not veneered over wood. Crate & Barrel's Monarch Shiitake Dining Table is everything I wanted and more. My husband and I did the 108" table, which is also difficult to find in solid wood at this price point. We have had more compliments on our table and most people ask if we had it custom made for the space. I highly recommend this table for its beauty and sturdiness.

I saw a handful of reviews prior to receiving my Monarch table that said it was easily damageable. We have not experienced this- but do use placemats to eat and trivets for hot items. The color and quality is gorgeous and we have had absolutely no problems!

We bought this dining table in September 2021 and it just arrived but it was worth the wait! It is very modern and elegant and the walnut color is beautiful and more muted gray than the typical orange walnut color. It seats 10 easily. We love it and can’t wait to have our family over for the holidays.

I bought this table 76”. After order,I was worried a little bit when I saw reviews. Some customers said about this table’s leg problem.But I think it’s not problem. I really recommend awesome this table.

We were waiting for this table for 9 months. It looks perfect. We used it first time yesterday and without any contact with table’s surface, without any hot or liquid other items few lighter spots appeared on surface. Please, see attached photos

I wanted a unique table for my dining room. I haven’t had this table very long, we rarely use it. I have noticed recently there there are multiple chips on the edges. I’m not even sure how this happened as the chairs are soft velvet. It’s rather disappointing considering the cost and the fact it is barely used. I would think it would be just a little more durable.

The Monarch Shiitake dining room table is by far one of the most beautiful additions to my home. The detail is stunning and the finish is simply beautiful. I smile every time I look at the table and Enjoy entertaining family and friends

Purchased this table 5 years ago and its only got better with age. Constantly receiving comments from friends and family on it. It becomes a statement piece that we have enjoyed for many years now. Only downside, the wood is not protected against spills and stains so make sure to use protection when eating/drinking on it to keep it looking great for years to come.

Loved this table until I owned it for a year. Within the first year the wood has several markings. There is discoloration from I’m not sure what. My 2 year olds not real silverware have created significant dents. We don’t use the table very often as it’s in our formal dining room and I’m surprised how delicate it is. I was expecting to purchase a high quality solid wood table but it feels cheap and we will likely replace in the next couple years.

The description says this is walnut. It most definitely not walnut. It is stained to look like walnut but when it it scratched it is a very light wood underneath the finish. It is a nice design but it looks cheap after it gets a few scratches. Walnut would where a lot better and would actually get better with age with a worn look as the scratches wouldn't turn white. If this was mentioned up front I probably wouldn't have bought this table as I was told it is walnut.

I love this table so much I even bought the dining bench to go along with it. The shitake stain is just gorgeous and ties in with any other decor in the house.

This table has been the centerpiece of our modern dining area for several years, weathering many meals, work-from-homes, homework study sessions and laundry folds. It's a gorgeous piece that we'd purchase again but the scratches, dents and veneer thinning has really taken a toll, despite the care we've shown it. The olive stain is tissue paper thin and fragile.
