Love the fluid edge. Well made. Looks amazing.

Many tub caddies are 30” and I needed 32”+. The sliding boards underneath won’t keep it secure for my tub so some modification will be needed. As the other reviewers have noted, it is black paint and not charred. The wavy edge gives it a faux live edge. My husband liked it.

I just bought this and It serves the intended purpose. However, the online pictures are misleading. They show a rich surface with with visible wood grain underneath a black stain. Instead it’s painted solid black which makes the caddy look more generic.

The size and foldable legs were perfect. It was not at all, however, like a charred, teak board I ordered from CB2 about two years ago. The coating felt almost like spray paint and did not appear that it would stay intact very long. The cheap feel of the coat and the lack of nice wood grain led me to return this. Store staff was very polite. It would have fit my bathtub well and was not heavy. I wish it were of the quality of the board (not a bath caddy) I purchased two years ago from CB2 and use as a narrow food serving trading. That board feels like actual teak, the grain is beautiful and tactile, the pain does’t feel like a cheap coating.

It's just what I was looking for, adds a touch of class and modern vibe to my master bath. It is not charred, just stained black.

I bought this bath caddy in black to stay on the window sill of my shower while not in use. I sealed it with a wood sealer per the other reviews to avoid turning moldy. Unfortunately with it constantly being wet, it was turning white on the edges and showing rings around the shampoo bottles. Also, the screws underneath were rusting and leaving stands on the tiles it was on top of. Not sure why these things weren't thought of when it was made for a bath/shower. I do love the look and size of it, and that it doesn't have so many bells and whistles like other bath caddies, so now I am trying to cover it with a waterproof paint to see if that can fix the stains. just feels like a lot of work to keep something in good looking condition.

I saw this piece and loved it from the moment I saw it. It was exactly what I was looking for. However, I was a bit hesitant to order this after reading several neg reviews. The piece is exactly 31 1/2" just 1/2" shy of what I need to move it further center of my tub. It still functions for me to have towards the end of the tub. I read about water stains so I decided to dry it after each use (for now at least) and I'll try to keep water from sitting on it. I've had it for over a week and no issues with water stains yet. This caddy makes my bathroom look and feel more sleek, relaxed and soothing.

Just received the Caddy today and it is not up to par. Despite receiving it with a chip in the corner, it is definitely not a real live edge nor is it a true "charred".

While neither charred or live edge, this is quite an ingenious hunk of wood for the bathtub. There are sliding pieces underneath that hold it to the correct size, and it's the perfect size for just about any free standing tub (I don't know about others). SO, even though it isn't as advertised, it works perfectly to hold my book and soapdish and it is quite nice in spite of itself.
