A very good looking desk, and sturdy. But the veneer on the underside started coming off almost immediately. Now it's started to wave and peel. This wasn't from any scrapes or bumps, just happened spontaneously. Hoped to have this for a while but will probably get rid of it soon.

The desk is pretty, but really poorly made. I've owned this for less than a year, and the finish is chipping or peeling off. The bottom and top lip of the desk top is peeling away from the middle layer. Not just a little bit either, but half the desk. I can feel it warping because the layers are bubbling at the edge where my wrists rest. I take care of my items, so I was expecting this to last much much longer.

I love everything about this desk! It’s beautifully made and sturdy.

I bought this two months ago. I wanted a desk that looked stylish in my main living space and I wasn't disappointed. Slightly larger than expected but very functional. Delivery was very quick.

We've had the desk for a few months now, and it still leads to fights over who can use it for work from home time. We love it in our office, and it always leads to nice comments from guests. Drawers give ample space, desk can be tall (wife's feet can dangle from her chair depending on seat position). Some very small wood chips from constant use, but not does not detract at all from look unless some hyper observant inspection.

Well thought-out design, from the placement of cable openings to the keyboard drawer. High build quality. Really nice to work from.

I wanted something that looks good facing out and I love this desk for that. I also love the drawers and the raised shelf. I am disappointed with the surface quality. I already have a chip front and center after just a couple weeks, plus hints of some scratches on top. There was a sticker on the outside that was difficult to get off. It left a residue that I’m afraid to use any product on to try and get off for fear of damaging the surface.

The Drommen Desk is exactly what we were trying to find. We wanted an attractive desk to place in the center of the room without putting the mess of cords on display. The slightly raised back and cord management holes allowed us to easily hide the cables. It’s large enough for two monitors, a laptop, and space to work from home. The drawers are convenient for tidying up at the end of the workday. The price was the icing on the cake!

The desk is beautiful but the one I saw in the store was blemishless. The one I got has splinters, the stain missing and scratches here and there. I understand natural wood has imperfections but the ones on the desk I got are not natural, just seem like workmanship imperfections.

We bought this desk nine months ago. After about a month, we noticed that two of the drawers would no longer shut without lifting up on the main desk. In the past three months, two cracks have developed on each side of the main desk, visible on the top and bottom of the wood piece that makes up the main desk area. It is a superficially beautiful desk, but has proven structurally deficient.

Beautiful, comfortable and so easy to assemble

I first bought this desk last summer. From the very beginning it was wobbly when typing or writing on it. The desk shakes from side to side even when I minimize the force of impact of my fingertips on the keyboard or while writing notes on paper. I contacted CB2 well after the return window had closed and they immediately offered to replace the desk for a new one. I am really appreciative of that level of customer service because, again, I was months past the return deadline. But the new desk they sent also wobbles just as much. I have decided to just live with it because the desk is beautiful, has ample space for me to spread out all my books, notes, papers and computer at the same time, has multiple drawers (with the middle drawer wall being able to fold down and become an ergonomic typing stand if you have a keyboard to place there), and it has the shelf on the back to put more things like a small desk lamp. I seriously love everything about the desk except its terrible stability. I think it's important that I post this review because I have received two of these desks now that were/are both annoyingly wobbly whenever you type or write on them. It's a shame this amazing desk has such an annoying and critical flaw.

I love this desk! It's so beautiful yet functional. I have two monitors on it yet the hidden cord compartment keeps it looking neat and organized.
