In this Traditional Coastal Open Living/Dining Room, we aimed to merge classic comfort with the airy lightness of the coast. We selected a calming palette reflecting the seaside's tranquility, with shades of blues and neutrals drawn directly from the ocean's spectrum. The central feature, a large sectional, offers a generous seating area, inviting guests to linger and relax. Its textured fabric is both durable and elegant, echoing the tactile experience of a coastal setting. The tufted ottoman coffee table anchors the living area with its substantial form and rich texture, providing a versatile centerpiece. We accented the dining area with studded chairs, introducing traditional craftsmanship that adds depth and character. Natural light was a guiding element in our design, so we positioned seating to take advantage of the room's ample windows, encouraging the space to feel as open and boundless as the seaside itself. We selected modern chandeliers that provide ambient light while also serving as focal points. The abstract wall art was chosen to evoke the fluidity and movement of the sea.
