Neutral Mid-Century Living Room with Royal-worthy Hints
This living room and dining room space is proof that a neutral color palette doesn't have to look dull. To make it feel unique and modern, we added hints of royal blue accents here and there to elevate the space and add more layers. To separate the areas in this open space floor layout, we chose two mid-century chairs from Article to serve as the dividing point. If you look closely, you'll notice a slight difference in the wood tones for the furniture in the dining room versus the living room space. This small trick creates a visual effect that helps you separate the rooms. However, we keep hints of blues and a similar style for the furniture pieces, such as the arched bar chairs and dining table chairs, to create consistency in the design. Overall, this is a bright space that looks modern and feels overly inviting.
