When it comes to designing an open space, the key is in adding functional pieces that frame each area. Tara's dream was to design a dreamy boho-inspired, industrial-style open living, and dining room area. To achieve this look, we chose area rugs that added a pop of texture, drama, and also served as room dividers. For the living room section, leather armchairs and a statement sofa create a conversational seating arrangement. The couch also serves as a room divider, separating the dining room area, which is also framed by another area rug. To achieve that industrial style with bohemian flare, we kept the room warm neutral tones and added pops of color throughout the space. In the end, the result is a modern, industrial style living room with boho accents that feels and looks spacious and cozy.
