A Sophisticated Mid-Century Open Living Room Space

This deep-hued living room design is all about modern sophistication. From the console table, the sofa, and even the accent chair, mid-century furniture pieces shine throughout the design. The characteristic low-profile brings the eyes to the lower portion of the room. The teal accent wall that perfectly matches the teal sofa instantly makes the room appear more spacious. We added a contrasting yellow accent chair that pairs well with the floor lamp's golden accents, the coffee table, and the sofa legs. A beautiful thin-framed bookshelf in gold behind the wall substitutes the traditional art piece while adding enough space for storing books, decorative accessories, and more. Lastly, to found the space, a large area rug in distressed reds and neutral tones complete the living room space, making it feel cozy and comfortable.
