The size is perfect, color neutral, so it goes with everything. But, I scored it a 3 because the sides and top (when open) is a danger zone when sleeping! A lot of bumped heads and elbows!! Too bad it doesn’t have a way to put the sides back. I use it as a spare bed for guests . Would only use this for a couple nights, not an everyday bed. Surprisingly, the mattress is comfortable! The drawers are not usable (well, you can store extra pillows or a blanket) meaning you cannot open themit when the bed is open or closed, you have to lift the foot of the platform to get to the storage. Would be awesome if the drawer could extend (openclose) some for ease of storage.

Love this bed!! My girls loved it and it is a hit for family for Thanksgiving! This was the best purchase ever!!

Really poor quality control and very poorly made! Some of the pre-assembled parts were coming apart and screw holes were stripped. Assembly required making new holes by hand for screws. They were not pre-drilled. The drawer face was falling apart and the piece had various scrapes and dents. For the price this should have been much higher quality.

Snuck a pic while my parents where out of the room. This is a great bed! My parents are in their 70s. My dad specifically has had chronic back problems for close to 40yrs at this point. They came to visit and have been sleeping on this bed without issue for a week now. I have other roomsbeds they could use while visiting but I wanted an option on the first floor (old knees and all that) but only had my library as a viable option. This bed goes well as a cabinet in the room when no one is visiting and it’s comfortable enough to comfortably support older family members. I would have given it 5 stars except the wood had a few scratches. Assembly was pretty easy too - came mostly built in 3 very heavy boxes (took me, my husband, and our two teenagers to drag everything into the house).

I was nervous about buying this piece but it’s nice!It feels very sturdy when you pull it out for sleeping. Looks great in my office without it looking like I’m sharing the office as a bedroom. This will allow us an extra room downstairs for relatives who cannot climb the steps to the guest room. I did feel like the mattress was a little thinner than I would like, so I bought a 3 inch topper to lay on it when my family is visiting. We just store that in the basement when we don’t need the bed.

Just perfect for recapturing your space when your visitors leave. I use the same space for my office. I received this product just fine and assembled it myself. Worth the price for the convenience.

The bed is comfortable, but the design is flawed. It was tough to put together. There are missing holes, extra holes, things not in alignment... also the paint job was not great. Disappointed for the price.

Purchased this for guests room. I had to pay someone to put it together—250.00! I haven’t used it but it’s perfect for the living space

Love this Murphy bed. Came sooner then expected. Packed VERY well. Installation went pretty good, set of screws were to short easy fix. However company should look into this. Easy to open and close.

I was extremely excited to find this size and color Murphy bed for a small guest/exercise room. It did me 2-3 hours to put together by myself, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow (it probably would take half the time with two adults). I've now had this a few months and several guests have used it. The mattress is shockingly comfortable and all guests have been very pleased with the quality and no complaints

Had multiple cracks in the wood, and warped pieces. Very difficult to assemble. No starter holes to screw screws into the wood. Tried to call manufacturer and they have not returned my call.

This will be so nice in our new home! I have one very disappointing thing I hated. There are many places where there is literally no stain. Unfortunately most of those places are on the front of the chest & very visible. This is so disappointing & for the price it shouldn’t be that way. I worked very hard & tried several things to get it somewhat acceptable. It would have been impossible to return after getting it put together. I wish there was some way to get a partial refund but we will use it & hope nobody can tell.

Outstanding, easy to assemble, easy to open, storage great, ports for charging electronics on side, comfortable for 2.

First off, the one star is for the furniture quality and manufacturer. (Wayfair gets 5 stars.) This piece of furniture was poorly made by Atlantic Furniture Co. There were cracks in the wood on each of the side panels, along with multiple misaligned predrilled holes, and some not even drilled. The paint job was obviously done quickly, as the grooves in the front of the chest were not even painted, the inside of the chest was painted but, you could see wood showing through, and there were hand prints and dirt/grease on the wood, both inside and out. One of the side latches would not even catch so it could be closed and locked for safety. The two back panel boards and cross piece did not fit together properly because the panels and the grooves in the crosspiece were not cut evenly. But after all this, and being very upset with the manufacturer (they were contacted but it didn't seem to care and did very little to help us), Wayfair took care of us. They have an excellent customer service department, (Jennifer was our customer service rep) and she went above and beyond to resolve our issues. They now have a customer for life. In fact I am ordering 2 chairs from them today to complete the guest room. Thank you again, Wayfair, for saving the day!

Came with scuffs. Was clearly repainted and smelled strongly of it and had some drips/clumps of paint in areas along the front of the chest. The screws didn’t align on the top of the chest, which made it impossible to put together all the pieces. The mattress is comfortable. The slats of the front though seem to have been put together with a wood glue that was separating though, and not the best quality.

I have had this piece in my study for over a year. I love it. Made well.

There are certainly some quality issues with this product. It is a beautiful piece of furniture however areas the paint does not cover. A few areas where the wood is cracked. After getting everything out of the boxes and assembling it certainly isn’t something you can easily pack back up and return. Price is too high for the quality.

Very cool for what it is. It makes our guest room/office more of an office, which is what we need it to be the majority of the time. Took my husband about 2 hours to put together, but took both of us to lift it into the room. The parts are heavy.

I was disappointed. I emailed the company b/c the sliding drawer is difficult and off balance. They never got back to me, and its just a disappointment.

Nice piece of furniture; instructions were good for assembly; however, the screw holes for the handles were “off” and the screws for the handles were too short and would not thread which caused damage trying to make them work which will require repair and new handles. The bed itself is nice as is the mattress. You would think for such a high unassembled price that you could at least have a quality department to check out the fittings.
