After years of a so-so coffee table in our sunroom, I purchased this bench. It’s gorgeous with a plant on it, but also does double duty for seating when we have a crowd. I love the clean lines and beautiful walnut.

This is a beautiful mid-century bench. I give it 4 stars because if you sit too close to the edge and bend over to tie your shoes it will tilt.

So far so good. It’s only been a few weeks but the bench seems sturdy - it’s heavy. Although, I just noticed my 12 month old has already stood up to it and left small bite marks on it. So if you have any teething babies, might want to keep them away.

We were looking for a bench for our entryway where the family and guests could sit down to get shoes off and on. Because the bench is one of the first things you see when you walk in, we wanted one that was both functional/sturdy and stylish. The Tate delivered both! We did have to wait about three months between ordering and delivery given the current supply chain issues, but it was worth the wait and fits our space beautifully.

I had been eyeing this bench for a while and was hesitant of the price. But it was definitely worth the splurge! It’s beautiful and so sturdy. I looked at a lot of slatted benches online, but none match the quality and craftsmanship of this one. The 4 vertical slats on top are nice for stability; and the outside two also double to cover where the legs connect. Other slatted benches don’t have that. I see some have complained about the low height, but it fits perfect for our needs. I’m 5’9” with long legs and it’s not too low for me.

The tate walnut slatted bench was delivered two weeks ago and it was a perfect addition to complete our featured art wall, which includes the sliced teak wall art and the sand storm print. We added the custom cushion to help tie into other colors in our home. The combination of all three pieces complement each other well and the space really looks great. The bench is very sturdy and is extremely well-made. The cushion is very well made too. Great, classic mid-century style. We love the versatility that the bench offers.

This was way more than we wanted to spend on a bench, but the materials and craftsmanship are absolutely beautiful. And the build is very sturdy. We love it.

Love this bench. Using it under my dining room window for extra seating and a place for catch all. I'll make a cushion for it and use it as extra seating at the dining table when needed. Very versatile piece and lovely walnut finish.

I’ve had this bench for about a year now and absolutely love it. It’s very sturdy, not too heavy, but doesn’t feel fragile. More importantly...it can double as a coffee table and a seating bench. Perfect for when we have guests but not enough seating for everyone. Highly recommend it for smaller spaces that need functional furniture.
