The wood is high quality and beautiful. Gives my room a natural, warm vibe and looks great with plants.

I cannot say enough about the Stax console and bookcase. I purchased the bookcase several years ago and finally grabbed the matching console for use as my TV stand. The lines are so clean, and the two-toned look makes it an amazing match for all my furniture. It’s sturdy, airy, and has room to showcase my favorite books and plants. This really has become a statement piece in my home rather than the boring usual TV stand. I also am quite petite and was able to assemble easily on my own.

I purchased the Stax Console several years ago, and I have to say, this piece is still one of my favorite pieces in the house, years later! It is so strong and durable, I’ve had my kids think it was a bench from time to time. It has the perfect height for behind my couch. And it looks stunning styled with books, vases, and picture frames. Easily a must for all as it is so versatile, with good design!

Purchased this a few months back as a console opposite my platform bed. I initially thought it was a little short but it works well with the height of the bed. I have a few books stacked horizontally as shelves are short and some decorative items. I really love the finish and how easy it was to assemble. I know that I will have this for a long time. This could also easily work as a large screen TV console.

Purchased to use as a TV stand for my 65-in LCD, and it worked perfectly!

The console arrived on time and it was well-protected in its packaging. It is fairly easy to put together with common tools and took less than half an hour after laying everything out. It looks great, just like in the photos, and feels sturdy enough to dance on. Take that, big box store furniture! My ONLY complaint with this piece is the heights between shelves are about a half inch shorter than a lot of my hardcover books. Another inch in height for each shelf would have made this piece much more functional. I don't think something gets 5 stars if simple changes to the design would make it more flexible and useful, but it is exactly what it claims to be and there were no other flaws.

So Happy that I bought this credenza, it fits my space perfect and adds to the room.

I searched for many months for the perfect media storage piece that would not be too heavy next to our fireplace and most importantly, be compatible with my grandfather’s mid-century modern sideboard that he made from mahogany back in the late 1950’s. We are very pleased with the quality of the wood and ease of assembly. We have received many compliments!

We bought this to use as a media console in our living room. It's sturdy and attractive, and it provides the storage we need for books and electronics without taking up tons of visual space. As some other reviews pointed out, the shelves aren't especially tall, but we were able to arrange books with shorter volumes standing up and taller ones stacked horizontally. Overall we're really happy with it!

We purchased this to use as a TV stand in our living room. The height is great for viewing--not too high like some console tables--and the two colors of wood reference both our light oak floors and darker trim and molding. I was blown away by the quality of the wood. The lighter wood posts are solid oak and they feel like it. While the shelves are veneer, it's a really high-quality, thick veneer. We have cats who like to jump on tables and hang off of them with their claws and in 4 months they haven't put a single scratch on this piece. The price is super, super reasonable for this piece. Even after I get tired of it in our living room I can move it someplace else in the house and it'll work for a lot of different situations. Highly recommend!
