I was really looking forward to receiving this piece as it was listed as natural and ethically sourced from Australia/New Zealand and I believe, free of chemicals. To my surprise when I received my package there was “made in China” on the box and on a sticker on the pelt itself. The pelt wreaks of chemicals that was most likely used to tan and dye the pelt. After some further research I found that it was most likely tanned in China. I feel like I was greatly misled by the advertisement of this product. I work very hard to buy ethical and environmentally sound items and this experience has been very hurtful. I was planning to return it but when I read deeper into the return policy I didn’t want to give any further business to you by giving you more of my money to return it, nor was I ensured to even receive a full refund. Not to mention what would happen to the product itself, would you just dispose of it completely? Then it would be even more harmful to the environment and wasteful. All in all I was deeply disappointed in this experience. It shouldn’t be on the consumer to call and ask all the details of production on a product. A good and honest company should provide those details upfront so a consumer can make the best and most educated purchase and decision. You will be sure that I will not be purchasing anything else from your company in the future

My favourite throw! So luxurious looking, soft and stylish. I have mine over the arm of my couch and it adds so much texture and character to my living room. It is very good quality as well. And it is fairly inexpensive for what it is.
