The threads in the legs used to secure the legs to the brackets that attach to the table top were stripped and are falling out. The ones that are not defective did not screw down enough and the head of the screw made a wobbly connection between the bracket and table top. And yes, we made sure to screw into the recessed side of the bracket. Overall super disappointed. You are missing quality control- not what I would have expected for a $350 table.

Love the design of this coffee table, the quality is terrible though. I have spent thousands at article and loved every single one of their pieces except this one. For starters, when assembling it, the screw holes didn’t line up with the pilot holes, and one of the legs was cracked. The legs are solid wood, but the top is cheap veneered particle board. When assembled it is very wobbly. even just setting a drink on it, it shakes. And now after having it for a few months, the top is discoloured where I’ve had a book on it. There is no direct sun in the room, so I’m not sure what would have caused this. I am just so beyond disappointed with the quality of this coffee table, especially considering I’ve LOVED everything else I’ve purchased from article.

I love the look of this table, but I do think the quality is lacking. It scratches too easily for a $350 table, in my opinion. If you are super cautious and don’t have kids or pets, I’d definitely recommend this table.

Great piece at a great price point. The rounded corners are a nice touch. It's also not too heavy -- which makes it easy to move. Looks very nice with my Article chairs!

I own a few article pieces and this is the only item I've been dissapointed with. The legs are very nice solid oak, but the top is cheap particle board. The side has a thick coat of paint to cover the mdf board and makes it look very cheap. I would have rather paid a little more to get a solid oak top. I don't think this table is worth the price with the particle board top.

We love it - just had one small problem with assembly. The four screws supplied to attach the bottom cross piece were about 1/4” too short. It kept falling off. Other than that, it is just beautiful!!

The style, size shape, and overall design of this coffee table is lovely! It's minimal, simple, and would work in a lot of different spaces. With this being said, I was VERY unimpressed with the quality. As other reviewers have mentioned, the top of the table is made with a very cheap material. When it arrived, it had a few white marks from where the colour had literally rubbed off. Over time the colour continued to fade and rub off in spots, and it got scratched very easily. I don't have kids, consistently used coasters, and was extremely careful with this table. There is no reason for this to be happening on a table of this price! When I reached out to the Article costumer service team they were great, and are sending me a new table for free. With this being said, I have a feeling I will probably have the same issue with the new table. After reading all of the other reviews, it seems as though this is a consistent issue. I love Article and adore my other pieces from them, but I don't want other buyers to waste their money on this table! I hope this table gets discontinued, and they re-make it using a better quality material. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The coffee table (Brezza light oak rectangular coffee table) that I ordered was not really what I was expecting. The overall look is great, the legs are superb and made of solid wood but the tray (surface or table top) is made very 'cheap', the contour is painted (why not real wood??) and after 1 day the paint was already damaged and the table top scratched. The color of the table top is very light compared to the legs and it looks like MDF instead of solid wood like the legs. Disappointing for the price we paid.

I absolutely love the look of my brezza table. It’s a great value for a wonderful looking product. It suits the look I was going for perfectly and it’s a great height and size for my soma sofa bed. My only complaint is the table top scratches easily. I’ve only had it for a few days and found multiple scratches. I still love it though.
