After 30 years we dared replacing our bed. We felt so good in it. It's a good looking, great quality bed. The reclaimed wood gives it's warmth making us feel like we've built a tree house, only that it's our bedroom. Great service and delivery

I’ve owned this bed for about 4 years now and with the mattress I purchased with it, it’s the absolute coziest. Plus the wood is beautifully earthy. It was definitely a good investment.

wife and I bought this bed. its a great product..no shaking, looks great.. and love the sides to put my feet on when putting on shoes.. dont know what others are complaining about..? like the one that said the beds hollow? a custom bed made out of 100% wood would cost 3 times this price.. its a good product..

Extremely poor quality. The headboard is a cheap looking veneer. We paid to have it delivered and assembled. The headboard doesn’t sit completely straight (vertically) and within a month the veneer developed big enough cracks that you can see through to the inside of the headboard. Awful. I would upload photos but I keep getting a message that and “error occurred”. Figures.

It looks nice and I bet it will be a good bed once we can actually use it. Unfortunately, the bed has a very strong smell that has literally overtaken my entire room. It is not the formaldehyde smell you get with cheaper furniture, but it isn't exactly just a clean wood smell either. I've had the bed for about two weeks and it still so strong we have to leave the windows open and the bedroom door closed. If it doesn't fade soon I may have to switch it with something else. Also, a small piece chipped off when it was being installed.

I've owned this bed for about 2 months now, looks great in our master and adds good character. I wish for the price the actual headboard itself was "heavier" or at least filled so it was not as hollow sounding. The sides, legs, platform itself was awesome and quality built. That being said, i have seen what else is out there and I would buy this again.

I have been looking at this bedroom set for years. When the collection went on sale in September, I decided to finally jump in and buy it. The bed is beautifully constructed. There are no veneers; all solid wood. I know other reviewers said the wood was soft, and prone to kicks; I haven't had an issue with that. I was also very pleased with Crate and Barrel delivery as they assembled the bed. I highly recommend having their staff assemble, as the assembly did look involved. It was no nice to remove the bulk of my old sleigh bed, which had a thick mattress and box spring with big footboard. The platform has a low imprint, and doesn't look bulky. I also went with the bungy board from Crate and Barrel, and that does seem to stabilize the minimalist mattress choice I purchased.

This is the bed I always dreamed for me and my husband. It is a low bed that has a minimalistic design and a beautiful rustic wood. We are liking it very much.

I love my queen bed (and chest) and have been pleased with the craftsmanship over the 6 months I've owned the bed. The piece is simply beautiful. I have not noticed any cracks or squeaking. My in-store purchase and delivery was super simple. Thanks C&B!

This bed is way too expensive for such a poor quality product. It squeaks terrible and does not seem to hold up as well as it should. I am very dissapointed and would not recommend this bed to anyone. I reached out to Crate and Barrel about this problem and was forwarded to the store, with no response.

Bought this bed for our guest room. Looks nice. Can’t comment on durability since it’s gets pretty minimal use. My only complaint is the edge around the bed. We knew about the edge when we bought the bed and it hasn’t been too much of an issue. But, i kinda wish we had chosen a different style.

We bought this bed in May and it's January now. All along the length of the headboard, there are deep cracks that have formed and you can see it's hollow inside. I understand that it is reclaimed wood but this should not occur. I can appreciate natural weathering but not to this extent. I expressed my disappointment directly with the company.Their response was that this happens with the cold weather and the heat indoors, that it's very common with their wood pieces, and that they have received such feedback on this and other wooden items in their catalog. They offered an exchange but there is no guarantee that this won't happen again. Overall, I am disappointed as this was a fairly expensive item and I expected much better quality. I would not recommend C&B for furniture, especially given the price. Unrelated to this, their copper items are not what I expected either. The copper finish rubbed off within a few uses, leaving just the silver metal underneath.

The bed does look nice. However after a couple years, it started to squeak. It makes a lot of noice getting in and out of bed. Not worth the money.
