This lamp was a perfect for our family room.It has a sturdy and heavy base that should prevent it being tip over by an active toddler.The shade is white when the lamp is off and when on shows a linen type pattern.A great buy.

Very easy to assemble. Sturdy and beautiful lamp. Love that it takes a 3-way bulb, so I can adjust the amount of light needed. I have the brushed steel base and the shade is white with a beautiful linen texture. Looks more expensive than it was.

This floor lamp is perfect...very heavy base so I know it can't tip over. Perfect next to reading chair and it takes a 3 way light bulb , so I can choose the amount of light I need. It's look like it should cost more then it did...love it

This is the perfect lamp for my cozy den!I have been looking for a long while for something that can be adjusted for adding light when reading or doing needle work, but can be adjusted back for less intense lighting when chatting with friends or watching TV.

It’s perfect, very sturdy. I thought the metal was black from the picture, but it’s really espresso. It fits well with our space anyway. The shade is also more white than the picture.
