Minimalist painting by Ksenia Sizaya is rooted in the artist's sketchbooks—a "rabbit hole," she says, of ideas yet to be painted. Ksenia Sizaya is a Montreal-based artist who was trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, and completed her master's degree in graphic art. Sizaya says her art is influenced by abstract expressionism and modernism. "I've always been a creative person, even as a small child. Design and art have always been a major part of my life."
