Very stunning in person. I bought this to add a pop of color to my nightstand.

This is an eye catching piece, I use it as a bookend but could easily be displayed on it's own

I know it’s the book end, but I use it as a piece of sculpture on my coffee table.

Blue is much darker than the photo and the weight of the bookend is not heavy enough to hold books in place

I have two walnut bookshelves that flank my desk in my office. There's not much color going on and the area was looking quite bland. I saw these bookends in a CB2 store and knew immediately that they would be great. The color is really a vibrant blue and looks beautiful when natural sunlight seeps through onto them. They add the perfect amount of pop to my desk and also are very sturdy. I have some heavy hardcover books that they keep propped up and I have had no issues with the books falling over.
