Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines has produced an abundance of ash, which is cleverly repurposed as a striking sculpture. The grey disc has an intriguing texture and form reminiscent of the moon or time-weathered stone, with streaking that calls to mind marble. Presented on an elegantly understated black stand, this sculpture has a small circular hole in its center. Each disc sculpture is unique.
