Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines has produced an abundance of ash, which is cleverly repurposed as a striking sculpture. A grey disk darkens at the edges and lightens towards the hole in its center, with a texture and form reminiscent of the moon or time-weathered stone. The sculpture is presented on an elegantly understated black stand, and each disc sculpture is unique.
