• This rustic living room design is stunning in its simplicity and is designed with a mid-century modern flair.
• The two sofas featured in White and Brown-Grey comprise the main seating area. They offer plenty of space and comfort. Its clean designs render it mid-century rustic.
• To give the muted color tones of the sofas some life, we have added a combination of throw pillows in colors of White, Tan, and Green from West Elm, CB2, and Wayfair, respectively. They make the entire seating design in the rustic living room warmer and inviting and not to mention they're great for a cozy cuddle. The Keagan geometric Grey/Cream area rug from Wayfair is a nice contrast against the wooden floor; the pattern particularly is mid-century modern. Completing the mid-century living room layout is the Boerum coffee table from West Elm and an Opalhouse Lory Pouf from Target. With its sturdy structure, the former is excellent for placing planters and potted plants on top, along with your remotes, books, coffee trays, magazines, and more, thereby making it a perfect piece in the living room. The latter is a great additional seating option, and for when it's not required for that, a great place to keep an evening tray full of little bites. We did include a faux desktop succulent planter from Joss & Main on top of the coffee table to bring in some color and freshness. It works great as a centerpiece.
• On one corner, in between the sofas, we have the John floor lamp from CB2. Sleek, stable, simple…ideal for a mid-century rustic living room, throwing the right amount of light for the living room size.
• Greenery is always a plus. In this mid-century rustic living room, the travellers' palm tree from Wayfair was an excellent addition. We put it in a Conway large basket from CB2, and that translates to a great décor piece as well. The basket itself can be used separately as additional storage space, which makes a stylish, multifunctional piece.
• On the other side, next to the white sofa, we have the Acevedo tray table from Wayfair. The table is a great place to display plants, decorative objects. It's also a place where you can keep your latest reads handy.
• On the opposite side, the wall is one of the most eye-catching and statement-making pieces that we incorporated in the rustic living room idea – the Black & White.
