A Modern Studio Living Room with Scandinavian Influences

To create this modern-looking studio apartment living room, we started with a monochromatic color palette that could help us make the room appear more spacious. To find versatile and functional pieces, we sourced products from West Elm, Pottery Barn, and IKEA with a Scandinavian influence. It was paramount to choose a sofa that would convert to a sleeping sofa if needed for visitors or improved comfort while watching a movie marathon. The ottomans are innovative accessories that make the room feel more grounded, while also serving as additional seating space if needed. It was essential to integrate the kitchen area into this living room design, which is why we chose a tall barstool-style table and matching bar stools to offer a place for dining without taking up much walking space. To make the living room feel warmer, we opted for natural wood accents and pops of greenery to cut the cold and sterile aesthetic from the rest of the decor.
