Mid-Century Multi-Functional Guest Room

This guest room turned into two spaces in one with help from our interior design tricks. On the guest bedroom side, the modern and trendy vibe is achieved by the black accent wall with a mid-century-themed gallery. The matching wall sconces add light without taking up too much space, and the black wire side tables double as nightstands without adding much bulk to the room. On the opposite side, we immediately left the wall in a different color to separate the office space. When choosing the standing desk, chairs, and shelves for the office area, we kept the same black paint to make the room flow better. Finally, we added a black and white patterned rug from Rugs USA to connect both areas of the room.

I love my design! It feels warm and cozy even with the amount of grey that is currently in there. I’ve wanted that rug for a while sp seeing it used it in the design helped me make my mind up.
