Cozy & Bright: A Mid-Century Modern Bedroom

We wanted to keep the color palette neutral, with pops of blue and green to play up the transitional and Mediterranean aesthetic. As you enter the room, we placed a small bench and wall hooks behind the door for hanging up coats and set-down bags. Before heading back to the hallway, there is a wall mirror and ottoman to get one last look before leaving for the day. The bed is layered with an ivory duvet and gray quilt to make the bed feel welcoming and luxurious, like staying in a hotel room. Across the room, we paired two identical chairs together to create a small seating area or reading nook. Finally, on top of the existing dresser, we placed a large bowl to collect keys, wallets, or small items and a tray to rest coffee cups or display a bouquet of fresh flowers.

I loved the design my designer created. It was warm and cozy all at once. I’ve already bought the table in the design.

I love my design! It feels warm and cozy even with the amount of grey that is currently in there. I’ve wanted that rug for a while sp seeing it used it in the design helped me make my mind up. I have already bought the coffee table and plan on buying the rest too. This design is everything I was looking for.
