Colquitt Murphy Bed: A Modern Rustic Bedroom

The doors, baseboards, and trims are painted white for a more updated look and brightened space. We painted the walls a very light gray to keep things sunny and cozy. The wall shelving and desk are also painted white, adding to the bright vibe in the bedroom. We wanted to warm up space, so we added a natural wood grid pattern of shelves above the built-in desk. Next to the window, we placed a standing desk keeping the work area in a dedicated space. On the wall across from the built-in desk, a Murphy bed is added that can fold up to provide more space to make the room feel open. In front of the wall, built-ins are created. A sitting area with two light upholstered chairs is used to create a conversation seating arrangement.
