Transitional Coastal Entryway That Adapts to The Seasons

By layering differently shaped rugs, we expanded the transitional coastal entryway area designed to be functional, practical, and relaxing. Because the entryway sets the tone for the rest of the home's decor, we kept it with a neutral color palette and added coastal elements through wall art and the hints of different shades of blues in the rug and pillow. Because functionality was a significant element of this design, a shoe rack is placed immediately when you enter. The storage ottoman serves to hold away seasonal decor elements, throws, and pillows. To decorate the space below the large window, we added a skinny console table with golden accents to break up the furniture's neutral palette and bring a touch of modernism to the design. In all, this is an entryway we wouldn't mind spending time in.
