We chose to bring in a lot of color to this bedroom. We started with the 4-poster bed from Pottery Barn Teen and went for it with more color in the emerald bedding, tangerine, teal, and saffron pillows. The bold and colorful triangle rug sets a playful tone to the room, yet still feels grown up. Matching white nightstands with gold geo lamps, provide symmetry to the room and also help keep the bed away from the window to access in emergencies. Two tall bookcases with closed cabinets offer a large storage system with the doors hiding odds and ends on the bottom, and the top shelves neatly organized in wicker baskets. A white vanity against the short wall provides a place to get ready or do some light studying with a pop of red in the corner with a swivel lounge chair. All around, the spaces feels fun and energizing, while still polished and organized.
