I wanted Noah’s room design to reflect some sporty elements because he loves soccer, paw patrol, basketball, football, and baseball. Noah would also like a car bed in his room because cars are his favorite.

Design Brief: A playful bedroom for my 3 year old son with a car bed
Since I was designing Noah's room from scratch, I was looking for a car bed (on Noah's request), wallpaper for a pop of color, furnishing, lighting, and a small table. We were going for a sports-themed room since he loves sports. I didn't want to overdo this either because a car bed is a pretty big statement piece, but wanted to find a way to make it as playful as possible.

Lauren drew up the layout of the room and curated products. The pottery barn quilt with baseball and soccer motifs and two car bed options, one in yellow and the other in red both from Wayfair I immediately liked them, and so did Noah.
Designer Notes
Beltus, we had so much fun designing your Kid’s Bedroom! In design one, you will see that we combined bright colors such as yellows, blues, and oranges to create a colorful and fun space for your son. In design two, you will see that we combined blue, red and green accents, also creating a fun and playful environment for your boy. Both designs include extra storage space for toys and combines elements of sports and cars.
Using the Spacejoy App to Experience my Designs in 3D
Two concepts of Noah’s room one with the red car bed and the other with yellow was ready. The 3D view of the app was an instant hit because Noah got to play around with it as well. He kept pointing to the yellow bed, so it was a relatively easy decision for us to make. The 3D view comes in handy while deciding on what products to go with.
