Theresa's Brief
This living space needs to be practical, stylish, and family-friendly. It serves as a play area for young kids, a cozy TV room for parents, and a welcoming space for guests. Since it’s the first room people see, it should feel polished yet livable.
The Designer's Note
Hi Theresa, Here is the living room showcasing a new leather sofa and a blue chair. It felt more your style to have the warmer neutral tones be a majority of your color palette with smaller pops of color like having the blue chair compared to a large blue sofa. I’ve updated the wall art to still include something textural along with black and white floral prints that have a modern farmhouse appeal to them. Best regards, Frances
“It is so nice to have a professional helping understand what to do with hard to fill spaces. I have used spacejoy for two rooms and it is so nice to have a professional helping understand what to do with hard-to-fill spaces. They offer sales on furniture purchases, make purchasing through them easy (and returns too, if needed!), have fantastic customer services for purchasing, and my designer Frances is just fantastic. I highly recommend this service!”
