My husband and I recently moved into a new home, and we decided to transform the guest bedroom/office into a lovely nursery for our baby girl. We wanted the space to feel like a comfortable and calming sanctuary, perfect for the hectic days with a newborn. Since this is our first daughter, we aimed for a feminine but not overly girly look for the room. The nursery had to be practical and child-friendly to accommodate both our almost 2-year-old toddler, Mateo, and our new baby girl arriving in September.I had a vision for the nursery to be calm, feminine, and naturally beautiful. Essential items for the space included a crib for sleeping, abundant book storage, a comfy rug for playing, a glider or comfy chair for feeding, a space to change diapers, and baskets and bins for storage. The room's decor should feature light wood furniture with clean lines, layered textures, and subtle feminine touches.

Hi Tori, your nursery designs are ready to view! For your first concept, I brought in a pale blush paint color as requested and paired it with natural elements, neutral hues, and extra storage for books and clothes as requested! A beautiful light fixture illuminates the space, as well as a lovely floor lamp. A stunning area rug sets the stage for this relaxing paradise, of which pairs effortlessly with the white and lighter woods of your existing bookcase and other coordinating storage :) Best, Micaela
