Bought three and they look great on oak floors. Heavy and they don't slide around even without a grip pad underneath. Unfortunately, dog likes to scoot on the runner. 2021 UPDATE: The rugs are failing fast. Edges getting ratty and fraying weave causes "cow licks" to stick up all over the rug surface. They'll have to be replaced soon.

Overall I am very pleased with this rug. It is definitely nice quality and beautiful. It’s a jute rug so it has gotten some snags/pulls in it since I got it a few months ago. The rug is in my living room so I think it’s kind of inevitable unless you place this rug somewhere it will never be walked on. I really don’t mind it anyway, it gives the room and rug a “lived in” feel. I would recommend vacuuming this rug sparingly and raising the height of your vacuum when you do, so the suction is not super strength over the weaves.

Love this rug!!! Nice and heavy and thick. It really does not need a pad because of its weight. It also is nice and soft, not scratchy at all.

As other reviews stated and as a jute rugs do, it sheds a decent amount. It is heavy weight and has knots. It is a great rug for the price and no other issues

Using this runner in the hallway and it’s perfect. Soft, adds nice texture, and it doesn’t move much (there isn’t a rug pad underneath). Great price and came sooner than the expected delivery date. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the rug! Sheds lightly in the beginning then after vacuuming on arrival... very minimal shedding. A rug pad is a must!

Lighting in this room brings out tan hues but it’s a great rug. Reason I gave 4 stars is because you really need a pad underneath and I was hoping it would suffice without it. Previously had this rug on my desk hardwoods and the rug looked white. Keep in mind lighting will make a huge difference but I’m happy with my rug.

Lovely, well made jute rugs. My only complaint is that I ordered two 12ft runners for a hallway and the jute is quite different in color. Yes, I know it’s all natural fiber but I wish they would have picked two at the warehouse that were similar.

I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be soft under foot but it is quite soft barefoot and really pretty. Just what I was looking for. It’s a little more blonde than the what’s shown.

I love the braided texture, but the color is slightly more yellow than I expected. It does shed some as well.

Haven’t opened all the way yet (very large) but seems very good quality

I have to change my review of this because it aged so poorly and shed scratchy fibers like crazy! It looked nice and was comfortable underfoot, but overall was a scratchy mess.

Such a beautiful natural rug! And it's soft under my feet, unlike other natural rugs.
