I bought this rug recently and beyond shocked at how much it sheds. It is such a shame as its a beautiful rug but very poor material. I have a newborn and there is fiber all over my home. We have to vacuum every day and we still find fibers all over the house from our clothes to our furniture. It is really frustrating.

Love the pattern of the rug. There is more grey in the rug than seen on photos but as the rug sheds it becomes more beige and blue. There is a lot of shedding at first. I vacuum it once a week and after 2-3 months the shedding is starting to slow down. There is some up keep but I feel like it is worth it.

This is a really pretty rug and it looks great in the store. However, the one that was delivered to us has weird dark grey striations throughout, some of which are in a very dominant arrow-like pattern. These is far different from the subtle striations in the rug displayed at the store. (The rug in the store is on a rake so you can't see the striations unless you tilt the rug so light is directed differently on the rug. Even when we did that, the grey striations are very light and are not dense nor arrow-like like the one we received). C&B customer service was great when we called them about our concerns and they are sending out another rug to us once it's in stock.

This is a beautiful rug. The background is a neutral ivory with lovely grayish striation. The navy blue design is very subtle. This rug pulls together a cohesive design with my gray walls, navy sofa and ivory chairs. It lays flat and the edges are nicely finished. So many other area rugs look carpet remnants with cheap-looking overcast stitched edges—this has the appearance of woven-to-size. I could not be more pleased with this selection.

We purchased 2 different sizes of this rug to connect our living space. We love them. They look great against the dark hardwood flooring we have and are super soft. They shed a little bit, but nothing requiring lots of maintenance.

Nice rug. Our second one. Had to throw away the first after the cats liked it too much.Keep this one in a room where cats not allowed. Only gave it 4 stars because it couldn't be cleaned of the cat smell. Tried numerous professional services and home options. If you have cats, stay away.

The blue is not as brilliant as the picture shows. More disappointing is that there is pronounced light grayish stripping throughout.

We purchased 2 of these rugs to accommodate our unusual floor plan and provide continuity between the spaces. These rugs are soft and look great against our dark wood floors. While they are shedding a bit, it has only been very little, and we've had the rugs down for several weeks. Based on other reviews I expected more shedding, hopefully it stays minimal. Very happy with this purchase.

Rug is fantastic. Feels super nice to the touch.

This is a very shedy rug. After a year and a half, in the busiest room in the house, it is still shedding. No amount of vacuuming stops the shed. Sit on it to play with the dog - you're covered in rug. Folding laundry and drop a shirt - it's covered in rug. Put your feet on the coffee table - the table is covered in rug. It's beautiful, but I hate it every day. This amount of shedding, over this amount of time, is not normal.

We purchased this rug in two different sizes to accommodate our uniquely shaped living area. Love them. I haven't seen a lot of "shedding" other reviewers have mentioned but they've only been down for a few weeks. The rugs look great against our dark wood floor and really brighten up the room. I would definitely purchase again. With the rug pad, they are also very soft.
