These bookshelves really pulled the living room together. I put one on either side of the fireplace and they look soooo nice, especially with a few plants on them. The quality of the wood is beautiful and amazing and they are SO much heavier than I expected them to be. I would highly recommend a 2nd person to help move it after assembly. Be mindful of where you plan to put it and where your electrical outlets are, as the back of the shelf is right at the level of my electrical outlets. Definitely not a huge

I love the look of this shelf, but it’s REALLY hard to install safely. I used the anchors provided but the shelf slips on the floor. A gentle tug and the front legs will slide out a few inches. This shelf needs back legs!

Love the design and versatility of this unit.

I purchased two of these for either side of my mantle. This is my fourth piece of furniture from article and I’ve been super happy with each purchase up until now. The slim version of these are poorly designed. I have the wide version with open shelves and it was a pain to install but doesn’t have the issues I’ve had with the slim ones. The mounting hardware does not work as designed. The wall screws don’t sit flush against the wall so the top supports float off the wall by an 1/8”. Then, the shelves slide forward and away from the wall significantly over time. My 3yo tried to get a ball from under one of these and the entire thing slid away from the wall by 6 inches. It was terrifying. If this site let me upload a video I would share one I took after we installed according to instructions and both units slid away from the wall about 3inches. My pictures don’t showcase the dangerous aspects of this design. Customer service was little help. These are not well designed and are dangerous if you have small children or pets in your home.
