Monochrome Overdose: A Mid-Century Modern Studio

The layout of studio apartments can be tricky as the room has to work hard to serve multiple functions. For this design, we added a standing desk and swivel chair to make work from home a bit fun. The striped area rug instantly draws attention to the ground, and the monochrome checked pillows strewn on the gray love seat at the corner of the room bring drama to space. Above the sofa, we added art prints that bring symmetry and light up the crisp white walls. Sleek console tables and a floor lamp give the studio an edgy industrial vibe. The bed is placed in one end of the studio apartment with easy access to a wall of windows that pours light into the room. Gold hues in the bedroom give the space a luxe feel.

I loved the design my designer created. It was warm and cozy all at once. I’ve already bought the table in the design.

I love my design! It feels warm and cozy even with the amount of grey that is currently in there. I’ve wanted that rug for a while sp seeing it used it in the design helped me make my mind up. I have already bought the coffee table and plan on buying the rest too. This design is everything I was looking for.
