Cozy & Bright: A Modern Farmhouse Living-Dining Room

The living room features a beige linen sofa with button tufting detail paired with barrel accent chairs upholstered in rich green velvet. A sideboard with mid-century modern lines and a washed grey finish provides adequate storage. Flanking the TV is a minimal abstract art print and brass picture frames to display family photos. Grounding the living room is a black and cream area rug with a geometric pattern. Hanging above is a brass sputnik chandelier which adds another element of mid-century modern design. The barstools behind the sofa have a simple yet modern design with a wood seat and a black metal base. The dining room features a rich wood tone dining table paired with black wood dining chairs with a curving X-shaped back detail. The gray area rug has a very subtle pattern. The ceiling fixture has a cage-like design in a brass finish which pulls some of the brass elements in the living room and the entryway. On the wall opposite the window is a large landscape painting that adds pops of greens to the room. Overall, this room is warm and cozy – the perfect farmhouse to spend sunny days and starry nights.
