We started with a neutral cool color palette of light grays, muted blues, and ivories. The main foundational piece, a large, pale gray sectional, hugs the wall on the far side, is simple and sleek in shape and provides plenty of seating for entertaining guests or enjoying a movie. The rug follows the slightly more modern feel of the sofa in its gray and ivory stripe pattern, sets the room's perimeter, and delineates the space. Accompanying the media console, two black bookcases, with closed doors on the bottom for hidden storage and plenty of surface area on the top to showcase objects of interest or favorite photos. A white console accompanies the dining table and chairs with a large infinity mirror to help make the room feel larger. All around, space feels light, open and modern, while still feeling cozy and welcoming at the same time.
