A Stunning Mid-Century Living-Dining Room
We wanted to create an airy space conducive to quiet nights or hosting and entertaining family and friends. We added this simple but elegant console from Target along with a sizable stylish mirror and some baskets to tuck away shoes, bags, etc. The exciting and modern lamp and some simple vases make it the perfect welcoming image for guests. Moving into the open space living room, we paired the dining table with a simple low pile rug and a geometric chandelier. By the breakfast bar, we added stylish and striking bar stools which add richness to the area and ties with the rest of the dining furniture in style and color. We moved the desk away from the window and created a workspace with a whole bookshelf and some storage drawers. The living room also has a simple and elegant Sven sofa from the Article and a CB2 Troubadour chair which creates multiple seating options for you and guests. Two larger abstract wood art panels finish off the space with interest without adding bulk to the room. Overall, this living-dining room is warm and inviting.
