A Mid-Century Living-Dining Room For A Large Family To Gather

We wanted to keep the color palette neutral with pops of color throughout the room for this design. As you enter the room from the hallway, we chose a large extendable dining table that can seat ten guests. The table is silhouetted by framed art on the long wall behind it. In the corner of the room near the window, we added a small swivel chair to create a small reading nook separate from the sofa seating area. Nestled behind the sofa, we chose a ladder desk, with file folders placed on the first shelf to keep paperwork out of sight when entertaining guests. The sideboard is styled with a small tray and barware items. Overall, this living-dining room is perfect for a large family to gather around and enjoy.
