Vintage Rug: French Country & Mid-Century Modern Living Room

To find the perfect balance between French Country and Mid-Century Modern design, we chose to maintain a muted color palette instead of adding natural materials and contrasting textures. The vintage rug, an ode to French Country aesthetics, was the starting point of this soothing living room. The upholstered sofa with fluffy pillows adds more comfort and warmth while doubling as pops of colors. Paired with rustic end tables, this side of the living room is all about French Country style. The chairs, coffee table, and lighting incorporate the Mid-Century aesthetic for a modern upgrade. Together, the selections marry the two styles seamlessly to create a rustic yet stylish living room.
