When working with a wide-open space, it can be challenging to make the area feel cozy and inviting. For this industrial and rustic living room, the most crucial thing was adding a large area rug that framed the space—after that, incorporating rustic elements with leather and wooden furniture pieces sets the tone for the rest of the decor. We included a large gray sectional to balance out the strong textures and colors from the other details. As you can see, the effort here is placed on the accent chairs, the small benches, and the coffee table. The walls are purposely left with little-to-no decorative elements to bring the eyes to the floor plan design and features. A couple of greenery accents are added throughout the space to lighten the room and create more balance.
