This rustic boho living room is all about making the room feel warm and welcoming and add some airiness to make it feel a more intimate space. The walls are brightened with a generous off-white and replaced your ceiling fan with a more straightforward and slightly more modern brass and wood fan. In this concept, because the walls are bright and neutral, we add pops of color to the space and started with this great southwest patterned red rug from Pottery Barn. Not only does it add that rich color and hopefully tie into some of the other colors throughout your home, but it provides an excellent grounding for the large neutral sofa sectional. The caramel media console adds a textured piece under the tv and provides some storage and a perfect place to spread some greenery, which I tried to do throughout the room. A carved coffee table offers the ideal large surface to place snacks while watching a movie or to gather to play a game with the family. A console table by the door is the perfect place to drop keys or a wallet, and placing a basket or two underneath could be the ideal place to drop bags or shoes if needed. Overall this room is an inviting and warm gathering place.
