Modern Rustic Living Room Centered Around the Fireplace

When you have a statement piece like this gorgeous modern fireplace, you can't ignore it in your design. For this modern rustic living room, every piece we chose was an ode to the tiles around the fireplace. The black and white theme is met with muted oranges and exposed wood elements to give that rustic vibe. We added two quirky art pieces above the fireplace mantel to add more layers but not take the beautiful tiles' attention. While the furniture was kept in a mid-century aesthetic, accessories like the braided jute pouf, the decorative baskets, and the wool rug bring out that rustic aesthetic we wanted to channel for this open living room.
