Curved & Velvet Sofas: A Contemporary Living Room

A cool neutral palette blending whites, blues, and pops of yellow definitely break the mold for this contemporary living room. The abstract area rug grounds the space and defines the living room area without disrupting the light and airy aesthetic of the space. To make a statement within the room, we opted for a minimalist curved navy blue sofa paired with a pair of mustard-yellow lounge chairs to create the ultimate lounging area. There's a small workspace area with a mid-century desk and open storage above to keep things organized. Since you can see the entryway in this open space living room, we kept things simple with a modern console table with enough space to tuck away ottomans that can be used for additional seating if needed.
